Hi, I’m Heather!

I’m the heart and lens behind Heather Reid Photography, and since 2010, I’ve had the joy of capturing the moments, connections, and stories that make life meaningful.

I’m a wife, mom, and devoted Christ follower, and my faith is a big part of how I serve with genuine care, compassion, and a commitment to excellence. I’m also definitely not the quiet, shy photographer! I’m outgoing, love meeting new people, and have a knack for making connections quickly so you can feel comfortable in front of my camera.

My photography journey actually began while earning my degree in Crime Scene Technology, where I developed a strong foundation in lighting, composition, detail, and capturing authentic moments. When I transitioned into creative photography, I discovered how much I loved helping people see themselves differently.

I hear it all the time: “I hate my smile,” or “I’m so awkward in photos.” But where you may see flaws, I see personality and beauty. Through posing guidance, encouragement, and a little fun, I help you relax and feel like yourself. Seeing that confidence come through in the final images is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Whether I’m photographing a wedding, family milestone, professional headshot, sporting event, or creative portrait, my goal is always the same: to create beautiful images while making sure you feel seen, valued, and confident.

I’m fully licensed and insured, and I’m happy to travel for the moments that matter most.
